This is a day full of fun. Participants are divided in teams of 4 and allocated a decorated car with a questionnaire and an emergency envelope in hand. Participants have to answer questions on the island, do things such as make a flower garland, collect local recipe and attend a workshop for the identification of fruits and vegetables. The first envelope will lead them to the second one, and then on to the third one to finish with lunch at a secret venue.
There is a morning briefing prior to departure to explain the events of the day. The routing will lead them through the attractive Mauritian countryside, away from the usual main roads. It is not a race. The purpose of the rally is to discover the country and to meet with the local people. All questionnaires are collected at the restaurant and the marking is carried out while clients are having lunch. The prize giving is normally done at coffee/dessert time or can be done in the evening before cocktails or after dinner. After lunch, the participants can use the cars for their own purpose and should be back at the hotel by 17:30 latest.
